The thing my Question solves is how much Magnetism in different Fruits or Vegetables.
Broad Question
What has the most Magnetism Fruits or Vegetables?
Specific Question
What Conducts more Electricity Fruits or Vegetables?
Hypothesis
I think the Fruits will have more Electricity then the Vegetables.
Graph of Hypothesis
Variables
Independent Variable: The Fruits and Vegetables.
Dependent Variable: The Amount of Energy that goes through the food.
Variables That Need To Be Controlled:
The thing that needs to be controlled is the amount of Electricity.
Vocabulary List That Needs Explanation
General Plan
My General Plan is to start my project in the next one to two weeks.
Potential Problems And Solutions
Potential problems are that something could happen and the food could explode.
To stop this from happening I will do the experiment outside.
Safety Or Environmental Concerns
The safety concerns are that all people around the experiment must wear safety glasses
What is your experimental unit?
The thing that I am measuring the amount of electricity in the Fruits and Vegetables.
Number Of Trials:
4 to 5 times.
Number Of Subjects In Each trial:
This is the number of different treatments you will use. For example, if you are comparing rust formation using salt and no salt, there would be 2 subjects in each trial. If you were comparing rust formation with no salt and three different amounts of salt, then you would have 4 subjects in each trial.
Number of Observations:
How many measurements will you take for each experimental unit times the number or trials
When data will be collected
The data that I am collecting is the amount of electricity in each of the fruits and vegetables
Where will data be collected?:
The data will be recorded on a graph and I will collect it at my house when I do the experiment

Step 1. Start on the 3/12/13
Step 2. Get the needed Materials from list above
Step 3.Put one of the Lemons on the Multimeter and turn on
Step 4. Measure the amount of energy going into the Lemon
Step 5. Turn off the Multimeter
Step 6. Take a picture of the Lemon and take it off the Multimeter
Step 7. Put one of the Potatoes on the Multimeter
Step 8. Turn on the Multimeter
Step 9. Measure the amount of energy going into the Potato
Step 10. Turn off the Multimeter
Step 11. Take a picture of the Potato and take it off the Multimeter
Step 12. Put one of the Carrott on the Multimeter
Step 13. Turn on the Multimeter
Step 14. Measure the amount of energy is going into the Carrott
Step 15. Turn off the Multimeter
Step 16. Take a picture of the Carrott and take it off the Multimeter
Step 17. Put one of the Apples on the Multimeter
Step 18. Turn on the Multimeter
Step 19. Measure the amount of energy going into the Apple
Step 20. Turn off the Multimeter
Step 21. Take a picture of the Apple and take it off the Multimeter
Step 22. Repeat steps 3 though 21 till all the fruits and vegetables are gone
Step 23. Then when the Multimeter is cool enough to move you bring the Multimeter over to the Hot Pad

Conclusion
For my experiment I decided to test the magnetism in different fruits and vegetables. I tested them using a multimeter. I was testing Fruits and vegetables like Lemons, Apples, Carrots and Potatoes. My hypothesis was that the fruits would have the most magnetism then the vegetables and my guess was right. It was right because the Lemon had the most magnetism then the vegetables.

Abstract
In the first few days of the science fair my dad said "Cat you should do your project on fruits and vegetables." So I choose that project and tested the magnetism in different fruits and vegetables. The fruits that I tested were lemons and apples. The vegetables that I tested were carrots and potatoes. I tested the fruits and vegetables with a thing called a multimeter. A multimeter is a device that has two or more meters like an ammeter and voltmeter. The thin I was testing in the fruits and vegetables was the magnetism. After I had done the experiment and I looked at the results. I was amazed. The food that had the most magnetism was the lemon. The second one that had the most magnetism was the potato. The third thing that had the most magnetism was the apple. So that leaves the carrot with the least number of the millliamps. So after I found out that the lemon had the most milliamps I had to make a detailed graph of all my data. The after I made my graph I had to put all my information into a poster board. So it has taken me almost one whole long month or more to put it together. Now it is down to the last few days to finish it but the days are disappearing and turning into hours then finally minutes. Now I only have less than one day to finish my poster board for the science fair.
